USDA Announces Nebraska Beef Recall Due to Possible E. Coli Contamination Print

USDA's Food Safety and Inspection Service announced that Nebraska Beef, Ltd., in Omaha, Nebraska, is recalling approximately 1.2 million pounds of beef that may be contaminated with E. coli O157:H7.

The recalled beef products include primal cuts, subprimal cuts and boxed beef and were produced on June 17, June 24 and July 8, 2008.  31 cases in 12 states and Canada have been identified in the investigation so far.
