The Fight BAC!® video won top recognition in the Children's Programming Category.
"We are extremely proud to receive this high honor for our efforts to educate children about the importance of safe food handling, " said Tim Hammonds, President and CEO of the Food Marketing Institute, a leading organization in the Partnership. Children are a particularly important audience as they can help spread our messages in a fun and creative way."
The 4-6th grade education kit, Your Game Plan for Food Safety which contains the award winning video, inspires children to discover the science behind food safety and encourages them to learn through experimenting, investigating and exploring. In addition to the engaging video, the classroom kit features colorful classroom components, fun family take-home exercises and lots of inquiry-based activities and experiments.
