The Consumer Food Safety Educator and Evaluation Toolbox and Guide is a free resource developed by the Partnership for Food Education and the U.S. Food and Drug Administration. This free planning and evaluation guide includes tips, tools, and examples designed to help health educators develop and evaluate their programs and activities.
Development of the guide was informed by a survey of health and food safety educators, conducted by the Partnership for Food Safety Education, in which 63% of respondents indicated they would like more training on evaluation. Suggestions from a comprehensive assessment of consumer food safety education strategies also informed the guide’s content.
