US Secretary of Agriculture, Mike Johanns, congratulates the Partnership on its efforts to engage the nation's retailers in the Be Food Safe in-store campaign.

Commissioner of the US Food and Drug Administration, Andrew von Eschenbach addressed the Partnership anniversary celebration September 18 in Washington:  "We look at food safety from a process of prevention, intervention through to response.  One of the most important groups in that process is, in fact, consumers."
