Fight BAC Store FAQs

The BAC! store is hosted by the non-profit Partnership for Food Safety Education. All proceeds from the store go directly back into store inventory and into materials made available free at www.fightbac.org

Do you take phone orders?

No, it is not possible to order via phone. In order to keep costs down we must use an entirely on-line store and ordering system. If you experience any problems using the store on fightbac.org you can order through our Facebook store (You will need a Facebook account).

What if I don’t have a PayPal account?

That is okay, you don’t need a PayPal account to use our store. Once you click on the checkout button a new window will open which is the secure payment page. After you fill in your shipping information you will see a bright orange button at the bottom of the page. Click on this checkout button. A page will open where you can either log into PayPal or choose to use a credit card. Click on the words “pay with a credit or debit card” and follow the instructions to complete your purchase.

How can I buy several of the same item?

The easiest way to purchase multiples of the same item is just to click “add to cart” as many times as is necessary to get the amount you want.

If you accidently click it too many times simply go to your cart click the X on the item that has too many and it will subtract one from the total amount of that item.

You can also change the quantity ordered on the page that requests your shipping information after you have clicked “checkout”. Simply click on the number of the item you want changed and update the new quantity and then press save underneath that number.

Help I’m not seeing a shopping cart!

If you are not seeing a cart you may have not have clicked on “save to cart” for any store products, or you may have a popup blocker installed that is preventing the cart from appearing. If this is the case you may need to change the settings for popups. You can also try shopping on our Facebook page (You will need a Facebook account).

My computer is set up with a popup blocker and I don’t know how to change it.

If you are experiencing problems with the shopping cart or a shopping cart does not show up then you may have a pop up blocker installed that is preventing the cart from working. You can try another option of shopping on our Facebook page (You will need a Facebook account).

How do I place store orders?

The first thing to do is look through our store and find the items you need. Our store accepts Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, and PayPal payments. Remember you aren’t required to use a PayPal account to buy from our store it is just a convenient option.

When you find the item just click the “add to cart” button and it will automatically add it to your cart. If you need more than one of the item simply click “add to cart” again and the quantity will be updated.

If you need to remove an item simply click on the x on the right side of the item and it will be removed from your cart.

If you are having trouble seeing what is in your cart simply click “view cart” and you will see the contents of your cart.

If you are not seeing a cart you may have not purchased anything yet or you may have a popup blocker installed and you may need to change your computer popup settings.

When you are done shopping simply click the “checkout” button and it will direct you to a new page where you can put in your shipping information

When you are done click “checkout” on the bottom of that page and it will direct you to the payment page.

If you would like to pay using PayPal please enter your information. If you would like to proceed without PayPal just click on the words “pay with credit or debit card”. Then proceed to enter your credit card information.

How do I know if my order went through?

You will receive a confirmation email when your order is placed and once the order has been shipped.

When will I receive my merchandise?

We try to have orders processed and shipped within a week. Most orders will arrive within ten business days. If you do not receive your merchandise in that time, please email This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it with your order information so we can track your order.

Do you ship internationally?

Unfortunately, we can ship only within the United States.

Your shipping rates seem high. Why?

We are a small organization and so depend on a fulfillment house to process and ship our orders. The shipping rates you see help to cover handling costs, as well as the shipping costs. Your order ships from the fulfillment house.
