Conference 2017

People from many different professions and from public and private sectors are involved in the food safety chain of prevention – from “farm to fork”. The Consumer Food Safety Education Conference is THE place for health educators and public health leaders to focus exclusively on how they can best support consumers with actionable steps they can take to reduce the risk of food poisoning at home.

The 2017 Consumer Food Safety Education Conference, January 25-27, 2017, will focus on behavior change – the heart of improving food safety practices at home and at work.

The sixth in a series of conferences on food safety education, the event at the Marriott Wardman Park Hotel in Washington, DC is expected to draw more than 400 professionals from a variety of backgrounds.

The non-profit Partnership for Food Safety Education hosts the conference and also provides programming year-round to connect health educators to effective practices, strategies, and developing initiatives.
